Food Forest Zones

We're converting traditional fields into self-sustaining, organic food forests which are mixed gardens consisting of fruit and nut trees, veggies, berries, and companion plants that grow on mounds that have been landscaped to direct and retain water.

What Is a Food Forest?

♻️🌰 🍎🍓

A food forest is a garden modeled on a natural forest, but designed to produce food. The land is landscaped by following its natural contours to build berms and swales that capture water, then layered with fruit trees, berries, veggies, and companion plants that work together like a real ecosystem. The result is a self-fertilizing growing area that needs far less manual labour, irrigation, and additives than traditional tilled fields.
