Regenerative project

Starting in 2024, Plum Hollow Farms began converting a 6 acre tree nursery into a regenerative growth zone with swales, soil enrichments, mixed planting, and wind breaks.

This project is a collaboration between our team and permaculture experts and sets the template for expansion in coming seasons.

Water Management

Our forest farm projects transform traditional fields with the introduction of keylines, trenches, and mounds (swales).

Diverse Planting

Planting takes place primarily on mounds and includes nitrogen fixers, vegetables, berries, fruit and nut trees, and ground cover.

Regenerative Approach

The goal is to increase productivity and resilience while reducing chemical fertilizers and pest/disease control products.
